Calling all ghosts, goblins, princesses, and pirates! Grab your costumes and join us for the Highland Park Community Council’s Annual Halloween Parade! There’ll be treats, tunes, and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family.

HPCC October Community Meeting – Oct 16th

The October HPCC community meeting will be held this Thursday September 16th, from 7-8 pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church (5801 Hampton St)! The agenda includes:

  • Bryant St. Parklet Engagement Update – Introduction to FWD Studio, the team helping drive our community engagement process for the Bryant St. Parklet. We will talk about the scope of the project and upcoming opportunities to engage!  
  • City Controller Rachael Heisler Presentation and Q&A – Rachael Heisler, Pittsburgh’s City Controller, will give a brief presentation on her office’s duties and goals, and answer any questions. 
  • Other updates on fall events

Bryant St. Pumpkin Patch & Parklet Brainstorming – Oct 12th

Join the HPCC at our annual Pumpkin Patch at the Bryant St. Parklet (corner of Bryant & Euclid), on Sunday, Oct 12th between 11am – 2pm

Take a fall photo amongst the hay and pumpkins! Pick a pumpkin for Halloween! Pumpkins are free, but donations are welcome to help cover the costs. 

We also be hosting Brainstorming Activities for the future of the Bryant St. Parklet! This is part of our 80 for 80 campaign to fundraise $80,000 over the next two years to support Bryant Street, the Parklet, and HPCC community programming.
