Per the City of Pittsburgh, official neighborhood trick-or-treating hours will be 5:30pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 31st. The City has also provided guidelines on how to safely enjoy the fun on Halloween:
- Trick-or-treaters should wear costumes that are bright, or carry a light to ensure they are visible to everyone around them.
- Motorists are asked to be especially vigilant on Halloween night. Avoid speeding, and be on the lookout for trick-or-treaters.
- Parents and guardians should check all candy before allowing children to indulge.
We are sharing a few tips below on how to help make Halloween a safe, fun, and accessible experience for every child – regardless of their abilities or needs!
