The Highland Park Mini Band

Artists: Deb and Jim Bogen + family
The Bogen family will be singing and performing eclectic music from traditional folk and gospel, to a real mix of band members’ favorites like Gillian Welch, Bob Dylan, and Lyle Lovett. They will be playing uke, banjo, bass, and guitar.

Tami will be playing kids songs and folk songs on guitar.
Jonathan Callard
5811 Stanton Ave.

Trevor Ring
913 Heths Ave. (on the fire escape on the left side of the house, not the porch)
Trevor is a bassist with Merz, Miller and the Wolves, but will be performing solo for the porch concerts. He will be playing from his fire escape, playing original and improvised compositions that emanate experimental, progressive and atmospheric jazz and funk. o you know how amazing your neighbors are? Seven diverse performers have offered to put on shows from their porches for all of us this Sunday night (May 31) from 7 – 8 pm. Thank you performers! Stroll or bike around the neighborhood to enjoy and applaud with enthusiasm! The list of performers with a description and their address is below and a map is attached. See you out there!

Highland Park Porch Concerts are here! Each Sunday from 7 – 8 pm, neighborhood musicians and other entertainers are invited to perform on their porches for their neighbors & passersby. Our goal is for there to be multiple performances going on each Sunday. We’ll post a list of all performers & their addresses each week on the HPCC Facebook pages and list serv. If you’re interested in performing, post a message on the HP Helping Hands Facebook page or send an email to HPCCPgh@gmail.com with your first name/band name, address, short description of your performance, and the week/s that you plan on performing. Audience members, please respect social distancing guidelines and cheer loudly!

Highland Parkers are invited to decorate their sidewalks and street fronts. Everyone is invited to wander our lovely neighborhood to enjoy each other’s art. If you need chalk, a limited number of packs will be available on a first come, first served basis Fri & Sat May 29 & 30 at 1315 N.
