“District 2’s (Highland Park, Morningside, and parts of the North Side) newly elected school board member, Dr. Regina Holley, will be conducting a meeting of PPS stakeholders. Dr. Holley is committed to accountability and welcomes the opportunity to hear the concerns and questions that the residents of District 2 have regarding our public schools. All parents, students, teachers and taxpayers welcome.

HPCC Meeting with Principals Lamar and Bivens, April 19th
Please join the Highland Park Community Council for its monthly meeting Thursday April 19th at 7 PM at St. Andrew’s Church on Hampton Street. This month, our featured speakers will be Principal Monica Lamar of Dilworth and Principal Kevin Bivens of Fulton. They will be discussing their schools and programs. We hope that you can join us!
Highland Park Clean Up Volunteers Needed, April 14th
Americorps is partnering with Parks Conservancy to do a massive clean-up project in Highland Park on Saturday, April 14th. Work will include trash pick-up, removal of invasive plants, and tree planting. Work will be starting at 9am and working until about 1pm. Anyone who is interested in helping out (or if you just want some more information), please contact Tyler at tjmcandr@syr.edu.
Free lunch will be included for all volunteers!
