HPCC March Community Meeting

Please join us for the March Community Meeting of the Highland Park Community Council, which will be held next Thursday, March 15th, at 7pm at St. Andrews.
 Ms. Karen Arnold, Principal of Fulton PreK-5, will be introducing herself and speaking to us about news and updates from Fulton, and representatives from Healthy Ride, Pittsburgh’s bike sharing system, will be giving a presentation and gathering feedback on their plans to add new stations, possibly including one or more in Highland Park! You can provide feedback on the proposed locations though this map. As always, we’ll also have a brief public safety update from Zone 5.

HPCC February Community Meeting

Please join us for the February Community Meeting of the Highland Park Community Council, which will be held next Thursday, February 15th, at 7pm at St. Andrews.

Our featured presentation will be from Bob Weimar, the acting Executive Director of PWSA, who will talk about and take questions on Highland Park-specific issues relating to the Reservoir and the temporary pumps and generators along Mellon, as well as broader issues like lead contamination and infrastructure improvements. We’ll also be hearing from David Hance, President of the Highland Park Community Development Corporation, about some of the HPCDC’s upcoming projects, and as always, we’ll have a brief public safety update from Zone 5.

HPCC January Community Meeting

Please join us for the January Community Meeting of the Highland Park Community Council, which will be held next Thursday, January 18th, at 7pm at St. Andrews. Our featured speaker will be Ms. Karen Arnold, Principal of Fulton PreK-5. We’ll also hear from representatives of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy regarding their efforts to remediate some unsanctioned and unsafe trails that have been constructed in the Park, and as usual we’ll get a public safety update from Zone 5.
