Highand Park Tree Care Day, March 20

Join the Highland Park Tree Tenders for their monthly tree care event!

On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, the Tree Tenders and Neighbors visit one of their plantings to weed, mulch, and care for the newly planted trees.

This month’s event will be held March 20, on Portland St from 6-8pm.  Meet at the corner of Bryant and Portland.

HPCC Meeting with Nine Mile Run, March 15th

Please join the Highland Park Community Council for its monthly meeting this Thursday at 7 PM at St. Andrew’s Church on Hampton Street. This month, our featured speaker will be Brenda Smith from Nine Mile Run, and she will be talking with our community about actions we can take to make a difference relative to water runoff into the sewer systems. My understanding is that Ms. Smith will cover a variety of topics including downspouts, rain gardens, and rain barrels. We hope that you can join us!

4th Annual Negley Run Clean Up Day – March 31st

The 4th Annual Negley Run Clean Up will be held Saturday March 31st from 1pm to 4pm. Get involved with local communities to improve Negley Run Blvd between East Liberty, Larimer and Highland Park. Bryant St Festival 2012 – Artists Wanted

Planning is underway for the 2012 Bryant Street Festival sponsored by the Highland Park Community Council which will be held on Sunday June 3rd from noon until 5:00 pm. The festival is a celebration of Highland Park and it’s people and includes live musical performances, children’s activities, food vendors, artists, and much more.

If you are an artist or crafts person interested in showing or selling your work or perhaps demonstrating your skill, we’d love to have you join in the event!

There is no fee to participate.
