DPW Curb Painters Coming to HP – Make Your Request via 311

thDo you need the yellow paint on your curb or your nearby intersection repainted? If so, please call 311 and report the specific address or intersection. This spring, the Department of Public Works will be targeting Highland Park for repainting. If this is a request to paint a new spot, please make the same request – though the process may take longer or the request may be denied. HPCC Monthly Meeting March 18th with Zone 5 Commander and Release of the New OLEA for Dogs Location

Please join us this Thursday to meet our new Zone 5 Commander Jason Lando and get important updates first hand on the Highland Park OLEA for dogs.

We will specifically be discussing the location of the OLEA so if you are a dog owner, we encourage you to attend.

The meeting will start at 7:00pm and will be held at our usual location at St Andrew’s Church at 5801 Hampton Street.

Love Your House Home Renovation Fair – February 21st at the Union Project

LoveYourHomeEventThe Highland Park Community Council (HPCC) is planning our first homeowner resource fair on Saturday, February 21, 2015 to help educate our community at large on home improvements, general home maintenance, navigating city processes such as permitting and innovative approaches to enhancing the value of one’s residence.

This event is FREE to all Highland Park residents!

The event will be held at Union Project, 801 N. Negley Ave., from 10am – 1pm. It will include a traditional resource fair in the Great Room with table stations manned by experts that guests can visit during the entire event and special breakout sessions in the Atrium with selected speaker panels for a more in-depth look at certain topics such as return on investment (ROI) as it relates to home improvements.
