The Office of Community Affairs is pleased to announce we are now accepting applications for the Civic Leadership Academy Spring 2020 class. The Civic Leadership Academy is a free, 11-week course that encourages more informed community leadership by giving City residents an opportunity to learn about their local government. Classes are available for any resident living within City of Pittsburgh limits and to business owners who operate within the City of Pittsburgh. Dinner and free childcare is available at every session.

We want to be sure we continue to have participants from all nine districts and as many neighborhoods as possible. Once we have a finalized flier prepared, I will send along. In the mean time, please feel free to help get the word out on social media by sharing our post.

The deadline for applications is March 1st, 2020 and classes begin on March 25th, 2020. To apply, residents should visit applycla.pittsburghpa.gov.
