Laura Nettleton from Thoughtful Balance will present her drawings for three single-family houses on Mellon Street for community feedback. The houses will be three-bedroom, two and half-bathrooms and will be built using Passive House criteria. Passive House results in buildings that save lots of energy up to 75% over standard construction. The houses will be modular construction offering superior quality that will be produced by Eco-Craft Homes. The project will infill the vacant lots that were vacated after an old apartment building and single-family house were demolished some years ago. Come see the improvements to the 900 block of Mellon Street!
