Zone 5 Public Safety Meeting: March 12th

From the Zone 5 Safety Council…”The Zone 5 Citizens Public Safety Council meets on the second Tuesday of most months at 7:00pm at the Union Project  to discuss public safety issues and updates from throughout Zone 5.  This meeting is a great place to communicate with Zone 5 officers and others concerned about public safety in the area, as well as to learn about the various public safety departments and divisions.  It also provides an opportunity to report problems directly to the Zone 5 Commander.

Next Meeting
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:00pm at the Union Project (801 N. Negley Ave, enter on Stanton).  As always, the Zone 5 police will be present to share the previous month’s report, take your tips on crime in your neighborhood, and answer your questions.
At the March meeting, we will welcome our new Vice President, Diane Daniels, and thank our outgoing Vice President, Sarah Campbell, for all of her years of service to Zone 5.  Bob LeDonne, Zone 5 Treasurer, has kindly agreed to continue in his position for another term.

We will also present proposed changes to the Zone 5 Citizens Public Safety Council by-laws and solicit your feedback.  The mission and goals will remain the same; we will simply be updating the by-laws to reflect the current operations and attendance trends of the Council.

Finally, please note that there will be no Zone 5 meeting in April.  Instead, please save the date for the Citywide Public Safety meeting on the evening of Tuesday, April 23rd. “
